An honor to make this list at a contest. And to share with 3 other great teams at the same event is amazing. But what happens when you have a field of 35 teams going after 1 goal. You give the judges your best product!

Backyard teams are turning out some amazing barbeque, as evident by this weekend's 350 Club goers. Well done to all!

Time for some dinner. Had a great trip to Smoke on the Rail BBQ Festival got a 2nd place call with our Springer Mountain Farms chicken and then a 8th place call with our Prairie Fresh Prime ribs we picked up last weekend from Smoke'n Dudes BBQ Supply. Overall finished 4th and earned a The Kansas City Barbeque Society 350+ score pin.

All setup for competition this weekend at Smoke on the Rail BBQ Festival .

Well plans for the day. Took a ride to North Philadelphia and stopped into Smoke'n Dudes BBQ Supply and picked up enough ribs for the next 3 months of competition. They had a great selection of Prairie Fresh products. Ran into 4 Boxers Q and Diablo stocking up too.

Then stopped into Reading Terminal while in the area. Now finish up getting the trailer ready for this coming week.

Well some improvements done in the competition trailer now to get things back together in preparation for Smoke on the Rail BBQ Festival as we will be heading up next weekend. If in the area of New Freedom Pa next Friday and Saturday stop in. Lots of event activities going on all weekend

I'm still impressed with my 4th Master level cook. During the 4 competitions I have now received three 1st place finishes. And the last two 1st have been in the pork category using Prairie Fresh pork that we source through Mister Brisket, Inc. Cooked on our Gateway Drum Smokers and Royal Oak Charcoal

The plan is to finish out the season chasing points in the backyard division of The Kansas City Barbeque Society and we may look into making a long awaited transition next year. Thanks to all that have supported us and those that look up to us for support.

Good day cooking Masters York County BBQ Festival got a perfect 180 score in Prairie Fresh pork and took 1st place. 6th place in Prarie fresh Ribs, 12th place Springer Mountain Farms Chicken 24th place Mister Brisket, Inc. Brisket.
