The end. What a great last day! It was such a joy to see friends and meet new guests this weekend as we said goodbye and closed our doors for the last time. Our staff were troopers and insisted on flipping the sign to closed. We wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Permanently closing is bittersweet, but we know that our road ahead will be walked hand in hand and that is the most important thing. 📍

It is with a heavy heart that we share our last day open will be Sunday, December 29th. We have served Laurel and it's visitors for the last 2 years, but the economy, consistent staffing challenges, and years apart as a couple have lead us to the only decision that makes sense for our family. We have loved meeting local citizens and visitors alike and are so grateful that you chose to start your day with us. It has been our absolute pleasure to serve you breakfast and although we will miss chatting with our guests, it is time to close this chapter and welcome a new business to downtown Laurel.

Thank you to our staff who has stood by our side, Laurel Main Street for cheering us on, our families for always having faith in us, and the Lord for walking beside us (and sometimes carrying us) on this journey.

Come pick up some dry grits with our recipe or indulge in a cinnamon roll one last time this Sunday! 📍
