Well, as you know, we are opening this week for dinner. The hours will be 4-7 PM Wednesday- Saturday. Here's the menu.

Wed: Grilled Chicken Smother
Grilled chicken breast smothered with onions, green yellow red peppers and mushrooms topped with shredded cheddar/jack cheese with a side salad.

Thursday: Beef Stroganoff
Beef tips in a creamy sour cream stroganoff gravy served over noodles and a side salad

Friday: Fish Platter
Fried cod, fries, cole slaw and a beverage

Saturday: Polish Buffet Night
(1) Halupki, haluski or pierogies and kielbasa & kraut along with a beverage and dessert

I am also offering menu service as well. I am trying to make this into a place that will be your diner of choice for dinner. Please stop on in, order off the menu or enjoy the daily special. I am hoping to see many of you tomorrow evening.

This week's dinners are as follows.
Tuesday: Charbroiled beef patty with grilled onions and gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetable with roll and butter.
Wednesday: Pot Roast, potatoes, carrots and celery
Thursday: Broasted Chicken, Pasta Salad and Ranch Style Hobo Beans
Friday: Fish on a Dish Dinner. Fish, choice of perohi or haluski and cole slaw
Dinners are from 4-7 PM
The diner will be open fron 12-7 PM this week. Lunch will be available this week only.

Due to the many strokes of "BAD LUCK" over the last two months, we have not been able to serve your needs to our satisfaction. As you know, we've had flood damage in the diner which limited us for a couple of weeks, as well as the breakdown of the gasoline pump. These two occurrences have severely impacted our level of business in a negative way! So, with our "NEVER GIVE UP" attitude, Ed and I have decided to change up by specializing in HOME-MADE DAILY DINNERS from 4-7 PM. Limited lunch items will still be available on a revised menu.

As Tuesday thru Friday for the week of April 21-24 have already been planned, we will remain on that schedule as published last week. Tuesday WILL be the grand re-opening of the diner and will feature prizes.

The following week our new schedule will be as follows. Dinner only will be served from 4-7 PM from Wednesday's thru Saturday's! There will be no more lunch hours but I will, as mentioned above, have a limited menu during the dinner hours.
Saturday will be our themed nights. This is something that I received many compliments and comments on in the past. I am looking forward to continuing this.
I cannot thank you enough for all your prayers and good wishes and continued support! You are the absolute best!

And please, DON'T FORGET, contact Chef Mary about your catering needs and private parties. We will have parties on site, both indoors and out and also off site.

The diner is open. There seems to be some confusion over the grand reopening post. Until the 21st we will be opening at 11 and closing at 2pm. AS OF THE 21ST WE WILL OPEN AT NOON AND CLOSE AT 6PM. CHEF

Come and join us for the Grand Re Opening of the doghouse Diner on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. It's also Chef's birthday, so celebrate with us.
For your dining pleasure, the diner will be opening daily from Noon -6PM, Tuesday through Friday.
I have developed a new menu which will be available all day. There will also be a dinner special available from 4-6 PM daily. Call ahead, take-out or dine in with us.
Every restaurant has it's niche and the little diner is no different. We have become well known for our colossal fish sandwiches, pierogies and homemade haluski. I was told by a first time guest that they were referred to as the "best in the state!" and that is why they drove out of their way to come to the Doghouse. And so my friends, although fish is available at any time, I have decided, on the advice of another customer, a regular, to continue fish, pierogies and haluski on Fridays. The menu will also be available as we are through the Lenten season.
It is my hope that the Doghouse will be your diner of choice. I hope that you will enjoy the new menu and evening dinners.
As I have said before, the Doghouse has the greatest customers ever, and it is my pleasure to serve you.

Looking forward to the coming week. I've got new menus done. I've not got a special planned for tomorrow as it was a very busy weekend with Easter. I think though, that I will have a chicken parmesan sandwich. I have everything available on the new menu except for meatloaf sandwich and fries. I will have that ready for Wednesday. Come on out, bring a friend, have a look at the new menu and order a great lunch. As always, see you in the Doghouse! Thank you all for your support during the flooding and re flooring of the diner and throughout the Lenten season.

It's the last Friday of Lent. We will be open from 11 AM - 6 PM. Have a wonderful and Blessed weekend with your family and friends. Happy Easter from Chef.
