Good morning friends… today just smells like Freedom… I have so much to be thankful for on this Fourth of July.. if you had told me that 7 days ago that I’d be sitting here in my dining room watching outside and being grateful for the smell of coffee (even though I don’t drink it) and knowing that I beat a widow maker I probably would of just chuckled … dr told me I was one of the sickest well people he’s ever seen… he literally begged me to leave the hospital because you are surrounded by sick people lol…I’ve never been this weak… and dependent on anyone this much in my life… high fiving after going potty and hey … I’m walking! It’s funny in my mind sorry…so ask yourself these questions… why are you thankful for today… 1. God… yeah you are thinking that’s a no brainer.. well to a 65 year old man that wasn’t saved until 2 years ago … I get it! 2. Family… yeah you are thinking that’s a no brainer too… well that too hasn’t all was been great and now I don’t think it could be better… 3. You folks my friends! I love each and everyone of you and last but not least this great experiment of mankind called America! I love it so very much… I love the fact that true Americans have no problem standing together arm in arm embracing ideas, having conversations and working together and supporting each other… I’m gonna get better and try to make God smile everyday at least once… because he’s given me a cheesy y grin all the time!
