LUMI XL COMING SOON🥡
It’s time we break some norms in this industry and finally share something we’ve been planning for a long time.
Wholesale is something we only ever dabbled in out of respect for our friends who own shops around the world. It was fun, but it never embodied what Luminous is about. Wholesale today isn’t what it used to be, and as a roaster focused on higher-cost coffees and deeply thought-out experiences, we aren’t built for the cheap, high-yield model most shops need.
What we saw was our lots moving way faster than planned… leaving our Lumi’s short on coffees they loved. That hurt us. So in January, we canceled all wholesale. Since then, we’ve received hundreds of emails asking for it back, and nothing is wrong with that — but our priority has always been, and will always be, you, the Lumi’s first.
So… here’s what we’ve been building.
For years we’ve had an idea: wholesale is basically a 40–50% discount game for shops. So we thought — what if we flipped the script and made something like wholesale, but for the Lumi’s?
Introducing LUMI XL DROPSTORE, dedicated entirely to bulk offerings once a month.
This won’t be the norm in the industry. It’s built the Luminous way — never done before until now.
Each Lumi XL Dropstore includes two coffees we select, and you can choose from 3 simple tiers:
Tier 1
• 12 boxes total (6 of each coffee)
Tier 2
• 12 boxes total
• plus (2) 1-kilo bags of each coffee
Tier 3
• 24 boxes total
• plus (2) 2-kilo bags of each coffee
This is for our Lumi’s who come back for the same coffees week after week, who buy for friends, or who order big every Drop — trust us, we see it every week.
And yes, shops and retailers can purchase these tiers too. It’s first-come, first-serve with limited quantities. Everything is priced at a 40–50% discount — true wholesale numbers, but offered publicly in a way that aligns with who we are.
