Wave Kava

Wave Kava Wave Kava is the first worker owned cooperative kava bar in Florida. We believe that kavatenders as skilled collaborators – not disposable employees.

With our vaporwave aesthetic, amazing kava tenders, and best quality product around – you’ll see the future of the kava community. Wave Kava, established in 2021, is the ONLY kava bar where owners and kavatenders share labor and profits equally. We offer the highest quality tea, while giving our partners, the kavatenders, both the means and the economic incentive to cultivate an atmosphere of cooperation and belonging. Kavatenders are tasked with innovating new products and cultivating an atmosphere where guests feel comfortable and valued. We utilize all of the unique skills that our team possesses to fairly determine what constitutes a healthy workplace, and the path to what kava and community can be.

This is the link to check early voting lines. If you haven’t already, get out there tomorrow! The wait time has been under 15 minutes all day.

(Timed myself in the rain and it took me 7 minutes to get in, vote, and get out.)

Loot at a list of Pinellas County early voting locations and statuses.

Hi Waverinos! We have so many fun, lowkey events coming up this month. Stay tuned for us to post a full calendar but keep looking for reminders.

PowerPoint night this month is our first one and is hosted by a startup community project. If you like Dropout, this is exactly what you’re looking for.

In additional news: karaoke has been super fun and growing a lot so we may or may not have a surprise coming for tomorrow! Come bear your soul to us through song, or just do a silly jam. We like both 😘
