Laredo, you showed up! 🤠💙

More than 400 people joined us for Freedom Run Club’s first-ever Vaque-Run, making it a huge success! Seeing our community come together to celebrate our culture, stay active, and have a great time was truly unforgettable.

A special thank-you to Council Member Gilbert Gonzalez, District I, for always supporting our vision of keeping the community active, and to City of Laredo Mayor Dr. Victor Treviño for his continued help and support.

Thank you to Constable Mike Villarreal for providing an es**rt throughout yesterday’s route and helping keep our community safe. We also want to thank Banda La 956 for putting on an incredible show and bringing so much energy to this special event! 🎶

We are incredibly grateful to all our sponsors and community partners for believing in our mission and helping make events like this possible.

‼️MAYOR TREVIÑO PROCLAIMS SEPTEMBER AS OVARIAN CANCER AWARENESS MONTH IN LAREDO‼️

Laredo, TX - Mayor Dr. Victor D. Treviño officially proclaimed September as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in the City of Laredo Wednesday morning, joining efforts to raise awareness and support women and families impacted by the disease.

In partnership with the City of Laredo Health Department, the proclamation emphasizes the importance of education, recognizing potential signs and symptoms, and encouraging conversations surrounding women’s health.

Throughout the month, the City of Laredo is encouraging the community to stand with those affected by ovarian cancer, honor survivors and remember the lives lost to the disease. 🩵

‼️MAYOR TREVIÑO HELPS BREAK GROUND ON NEW 956 MEAT MARKET INCOMING‼️

Laredo, TX - Mayor Dr. Victor D. Treviño and District 6 Council Member Dr. Tyler King joined the Laredo Chamber of Commerce for the groundbreaking of a new 956 Meat Market, coming soon to the intersection of Springfield Avenue and San Isidro Parkway.

The new location represents another business investment in the growing District 6 area, with projects like these contributing to economic development and bringing additional shopping and employment opportunities to the community.

Mayor Treviño and Council Member King congratulated the 956 Meat Market team on reaching the milestone and wished them success as they prepare to open their new Laredo location. Congratulations! 👏🎉
