We’re in full production at Seth Greenberg’s Just Desserts! Samantha is rolling out our Chocolate Babka and Seth is finishing our Deep-Dish Crumb-Topped Apple Pies for Yom Kippur.

When the fast is over, why stop at one dessert?

Set the table with a Break Fast Dessert Buffet: slice the babka, cut the apple pie, put on the coffee, and add a few more Greenberg’s favorites. Rugelach, cookies, and crumb cake, there’s something for everyone as the evening stretches on.

A first birthday cake so special, it made an appearance for the next generation. 🎂💗

Years ago, I created a magical birthday cake for a little girl. It featured a miniature nature scene with tiny bridges, a flowing stream, flowers, ducks and rabbits all finished with intricate hand-piped basketweave and latticework.

That little girl grew up.

When it was time to celebrate her own daughter’s first birthday, she returned with one special request:

Make my daughter the cake you made for me.

So I did.

After more than three decades at the pastry bench, I’ve learned that a beautiful cake is only part of the story. The most meaningful creations become part of a family’s traditions.

From one generation to the next.
