CALLING ALL WINELOVERS - You won’t want to miss this opportunity to dine with one of the most talented and respected winemakers of Spain. Join us on Tuesday, May 19 as Chef Rich Perez welcomes good friend ALBERTO ORTE, co-founder of Olé & Obrigado.
A native son of the Andalucía region, Alberto Orte is a winemaker, wine grower, and a walking history book all in one. He has been featured in Eva Longoria’s ‘Searching For Spain’ and New York Times wine critic Eric Asimov credits Alberto’s pioneering work in the recuperation and preservation of dozens of indigenous Spanish grape varieties. We’ll hear more from Alberto about his winemaking philosophy, which focuses on traditional techniques used in the first half of the 20th century.
​Join us for a fabulous 5-course meal featuring cuisine from the Jerez region of Spain. We also invite all attendees to join us for a pre-dinner reception with Alberto from 6-7pm where you will also be able to try his many wines not featured on the evening’s menu!
