ACF Smokin' BBQ This contest will consist of two different team events. KCBS professional teams will be displaying KCBS-style BBQ in four meat categories.

🍖 People’s Choice tasting starts at 3 PM
📍 Under the grandstands – enter through north fairgrounds entrance
👨‍🍳 40+ BBQ teams from near & far! BBQ Competitors from local areas and across the country will be descending on Laramie, WY, to compete in this year's 1st Annual Albany County Fair Smokin' BBQ event! Chicken, R

ibs, Pork, and Brisket will be presented to KCBS-certified BBQ judges for the title of Grand Champion. The Backyard teams will compete in a Rib category and an Anything Goes category for their title of Grand Champion Backyard. The Public is INVITED and ENCOURAGED to come out and help select the People's Choice Award for bragging rights!

What an incredible weekend!

On behalf of everyone with ACF Smokin' BBQ, thank you to every team that made this event such a success.

To our Master Series, Backyard, Kids' Que, and First Responder Challenge teams from the Laramie Police Department, Laramie Fire Department, and Albany County Search & Rescue, thank you for your time, talent, and sportsmanship. You traveled from near and far to help make this the best BBQ competition we've ever hosted.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the People's Choice. We hope you enjoyed tasting some of the finest competition BBQ from around the country and had as much fun as we did!

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing sponsors. Your support made this event possible, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Finally, thank you to our volunteers, judges, the Albany County Fairgrounds staff, and everyone who worked behind the scenes. Events like this take an incredible team effort.

We can't wait to do it all again next year. See you in 2027!

Come hungry and help crown the People's Choice Champion at the ACF Smokin' BBQ!

Over 45 BBQ teams will be competing, including the Laramie Police Department and the Laramie Fire Department!

🌧️ Rain or shine, we'll be under the grandstands.

📍 Enter the Albany County Fairgrounds through the NORTH entrance, then head to the north end of the grandstands for admissions and the event entrance.

🎟️ $15 General Admission
🍖 Sample amazing BBQ, cast your vote for People's Choice, and stick around for the awards ceremony as this year's champions are crowned!

We're just over two weeks away, and the excitement is building!

As of today, we have 32 professional BBQ teams from 7 different states signed up to compete at the ACF Smokin' BBQ. These teams are traveling to Laramie to battle it out, and you get to help decide who takes home the People's Choice Award.

🕒 People's Choice tasting starts at 3:00 PM
🏆 Awards begin around 4:30 PM

If you love great BBQ, this is the event to be at. Come hungry, sample competition BBQ from some incredibly talented pitmasters, cast your vote, and stick around to cheer on the teams during the awards ceremony.
