It’s going to be a beautiful weekend at Bistro On the Greens!

Our patio will be open, and we’re serving 11:30 AM to 9 PM Saturday and Sunday.

Joining us for lunch? Try one of our popular favorites, including the Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl, Korean Fried Chicken, Margherita Flatbread, Chicken Flatbread, or our Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich.

After a challenging week dealing with the aftermath of the storm, we’re excited to have our doors open again and welcome everyone back.

Our team has been working hard behind the scenes, and we’re ready to serve the Rustic Southern cuisine you know and love.

We truly appreciate all the calls, messages, and support we’ve received from our community. It means more to us than you know.

WE’RE BACK TOMORROW! ❤️

We’re excited to announce that Bistro On the Greens will reopen tomorrow at 4:00 PM!

This has been a difficult period for everyone. The devastating storm, extended power outage, and days of uncertainty affected our restaurant, our employees, and so many throughout our community.

Our original intention was to reopen for lunch, but unfortunately, we are still waiting on a few important deliveries that will not arrive in time. Rather than rush the process, we will open our doors at 4:00 PM for dinner service. We’ll keep everyone posted as we work toward returning to our regular lunch hours.

Our team has been working hard to clean, restock, prepare, and make sure everything is ready to welcome you back. We are incredibly grateful for all the calls, messages, patience, and support we’ve received.

Tomorrow at 4:00 PM, we get to do what we love again — serve you.

Storm Recovery Update: We Have Power! ❤️

We’re happy to announce that power has finally been restored to Bistro On the Greens!

While this is great news, the extended outage unfortunately resulted in the loss of our entire food inventory. Our focus now is on cleaning and sanitizing the restaurant, replacing and preparing all of our food products, reorganizing our operation, and getting our staff ready to safely welcome everyone back.

We want to sincerely thank our community for the incredible words of encouragement and support we’ve received throughout this difficult week. It has meant more to us and our staff than you know.

To everyone who had reservations, special gatherings, or plans with us that we were forced to cancel or postpone, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We greatly appreciate your understanding and look forward to working with you to reschedule.

This past week has brought challenges for all of us, both personally and professionally. Through it all, our team has remained focused on moving forward, and we’re grateful to be preparing to welcome our community back to Bistro On the Greens.

Our goal is to reopen next week. We may begin with limited hours, possibly dinner service only on Wednesday and Thursday, before returning to our full regular schedule. We want to make sure we have solid footing, a fully stocked kitchen, and our entire team prepared before returning to normal operations.

We’ll announce our official reopening date and hours as soon as everything is ready.

The storm may have closed our doors temporarily, but it certainly didn’t break our spirit.

Bistro On the Greens – Weekend Closure Update

Based on our current situation and the latest information from NIPSCO, unfortunately, Bistro On the Greens will not be able to open this weekend.

We remain without power, phone service, and internet, making it impossible for us to safely and properly reopen at this time.

We know this situation affects more than just our business, it affects our employees, their families, our customers, and our community. We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding as our area continues to recover.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep everyone updated as new information becomes available.

FOOD TRUCKS WANTED — LET’S SUPPORT LAPORTE!

With much of LaPorte currently without power, many restaurants and food businesses are unable to operate normally, leaving our community with limited options for meals.

Bistro On the Greens would like to help.

We are opening up our parking lot to food trucks that are able to operate and serve the community during the power outage. If you’re a food truck operator and would like a place to set up, we welcome you to join us.

This is about neighbors helping neighbors and making sure people have access to food while our community works through the effects of the storm.

Interested food truck operators: Please contact Bistro On the Greens through Facebook Messenger so we can coordinate parking and availability.

Bistro On the Greens – Storm Update

Due to the severe storms that came through our area, many of our staff members have been impacted. In addition, the golf course and Bistro On the Greens are currently without electricity and internet service.

For the safety and well-being of our team and guests, we have made the decision to remain closed today.

We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen Friday, August 14, for dinner, and resume normal business hours on Saturday, August 15, from 11:30AM to 9:00 PM, provided power and services have been restored.

This has been a difficult and disruptive experience for so many throughout our community. Our thoughts are with our staff, customers, neighbors, and everyone affected by the storms. We hope you and your families are safe.
