Hello friends, we wanted to give you an update on our specialty vendor The Farmers Creamery of Mio Michigan. This past Saturday, there was a large fire and they lost the entire plant. Very sad news. They are going to rebuild, but it will be a few months at least. We are arranging for Calders dairy to help us with our milk program in the meantime. We will update you as needed.

Thank you all for your support. ELFCO will continue to be open on a month to month basis. We made great progress but we still have a ways to go remain open on a permanent basis. We hit our goal of keeping the lights on. Now on to the more difficult task of becoming sustainable. So a GREAT BIG Thank You to all. We will be updating you weekly with store changes, new products, specials, and so on. Also the main road Kalamazoo which runs in front of the store is getting repaved. Keep your eyes out for road closures and construction updates.
