The FDA has identified a source of the outbreak; our lettuce (whole head, purchased from Aldi on 7/17) is not on the list of recalled products so we will continue to serve it.

We have been using whole head lettuce since before the outbreak started.

Taylor Farms de Mexico of Guanajuato, Mexico is voluntarily removing all iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico from the U.S. market, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Cyclospora. Don't breathe the air

There is an outbreak of Cyclospora officials still haven't determined a cause of.

Anyways we're open.

We are still offering lettuce, tomatoes and onion with increased caution and closely following the new information as it comes. If you request no lettuce, tomatoes or onions or order a dish that comes with no produce we are taking steps to ensure no cross contact, while still keeping the products available for customers who are still choosing to eat produce until a cause is determined.

I'm going to need the delivery apps to stop using AI to "update" my menu and photos. If you see any pictures that are of anything other than my food the app put that there, not me. I do not ever use stock photos or AI photos for food.

I have also run across a few AI descriptions with wildly incorrect information, the most ridiculous being that a buffalo ranch wrap was buffalo meat, it is not it's buffalo tenders.

It's a big undertaking to create and maintain the menu without an artificial assistant that you never asked for messing with it. I will work on getting this fixed as quickly as possible, in the meantime please do not order based on the photos on apps. elsaschickenandwaffles.com/menu has authentic pictures of my food.
