I’d like to thank everyone for all the kind wishes and words.

The turnout over the past couple weeks has been incredible. With today being our final day, I’d like to share some info about what we have left. We are down to a basic menu of meats and sides. We have lots of pork, ribs, wings and tenders. If you want Brisket please don’t wait. We are probably going to run out of sides during or after lunch so please plan your dinners accordingly.

Thank you all for the overwhelming support!! We are just about sold out of everything tonight, and we were so busy that we had to pause online ordering!! I’m sorry if you weren’t able to get what you wanted. We will be much better prepared the rest of the week. I didn’t expect this kind of response today. Thank you all for the kind wishes.

Also worth mentioning: please check out our online menu at our website Wistersbbq.com. There you can see what we have and what we do not have. Unfortunately we were so busy I was not able to answer the counter phone.

After nearly twenty years of serving BBQ in the Lansdale community, including eight years at our brick-and-mortar locations, the time has come for me to close this chapter.

Wister's BBQ's final day of operation will be Sunday, August 30th.

There's not much of a story behind it. As many of you know, I took over the business after my father passed. I simply feel that it's time for me to move on to the next chapter of my life. I can't thank our loyal customers, employees, friends, and community enough for the support over the years.

I hope you'll stop in to grab a bite to eat, redeem your gift cards and loyalty points, or just say goodbye before we close.

Also worth mentioning: We don't want to throw out much food after we're done, so we'll be out of many items in the last week. Please don't wait until the very end to come get food. I think over the last few days we will have very little of what's left. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in purchasing equipment.

Our store phone has been acting up this week, and a lot of calls weren’t going through. It’s back to normal now!

Isn’t technology supposed to be making our lives easier?
