Happy Pride Month! Looking forward to the South Whidbey Pride Parade & Festival on Saturday, June 20th at 12pm in downtown Langley 🌈💖🏳️‍🌈💞 They are also putting on a Drag Brunch at 9am on Saturday, June 13th at Cozy’s!

We’re in a backward slide regarding human rights in this country, with more and more companies seeming reluctant about speaking out this year about all kinds of issues. I want to be very, very clear about Salinity’s stance on gay & trans rights.

Everyone should be able to love the person they want (assuming reciprocating feelings, legally consenting adults) and have the legal protections & safety to dress how they want. Pretty basic stuff!

We need to be out and proud as supporters of LGBTQIA+ & general human rights every single day. Not just with our friends who agree, but in the face of anyone who might disagree. Consider having a conversation this month about what Pride & LGBTQIA+ Rights means to you, with someone who doesn’t understand yet. Sometimes people just need to talk through the details and ask some questions in order to not be afraid & judgmental. Feel free to DM Salinity if you’re confused about what all these letters mean and how they impact your life!

If you’re not down with supporting trans, non-binary, and all q***r rights… then I don’t really want you as a customer.

Every single person should have the right to physical autonomy & emotional safety.

You can’t wish my friends harm and expect us to get along.

If you disagree in thought or action, I beg you to examine your core values. Love everyone. Please. Lives are at risk. Stand up and say no to bigotry 💖

✨ Flavor of the Week: Hops ✨

How are you doing? I’m glad you’re here.

This drink is a very special combination of flavors: apple, hops, and honey. NoWhere Foods is a little company in Seattle that makes mocktails (or soda replacements) using fruit juice, sparkling water, and flavorful botanicals. No sugar! Sweet and delicious.

This week’s feature is called Alpenglow with apple, hops, and honey. We also stock their Ridgeline (cherry, ginger, maple syrup) and Vista (elderberry, rosemary, honey) drinks.

Very popular during the summer at the Island Shakespeare Festival when we’ve got a cooler set up for cold drinks. Speaking of, the giant circus tent where Salinity sets up concessions is now set up! So take a look next time you’re driving through that section of Maxwelton Road. See you there July 17th-Sept 6th! Tickets are available now.
