We have come to a conclusion and that is that most people who love Blueberries are amazing! We love meeting all of you and of course seeing all the returning faces year after year. Are you looking for a summer farm experience but don’t want to commit to something long term? Do you want to spread joy by helping create a beautiful view on people’s daily drive. Our flower fields are just starting to show color. We are looking for some helping hands tomorrow for approx two hours to help us with some easy w**d pulling in our flower field (the w**ds are in rows tilled so the soil is soft). We will caffeinate you and feed you from our farm to table cafe 🥰. No experience required, positive vibes only. Looking for about 2 hours of help❤️

🫐 We are a week into blueberry season and you guys have already picked over 500lbs of fresh blueberries at Second Drop Farm!! Our hens are also loving all of the attention and blueberries you have shared with them. We will be open at 8:00am tomorrow for farm fresh breakfast sandwiches, your favorite drink and blueberry pickin’. Come channel the inner farmer that lives in us all.

The smiles that are created on this farm are worth so much to us. We will continue to say thank you. The dream of being able to have a place where people can come and experience happiness, create new memories with their family, friends and even amongst themselves out in the fields or in the farm to table cafe. The smiles that remind us why we chased the dream. Happiness is contagious. We have been so busy crafting the perfect menu for you with some of the best fresh local ingredients around and you guys have given us so much positive feedback! Including one of our favorites that we are many people’s favorite coffee place 🥹🥰. We will always be grateful for a line out the door, human connection at the tables and laughter trickling down the field paths. Of course our vision on the farm was to also secure a happy and healthy life for our family too but all of this wouldn’t be possible without our community supporting us and encouraging us to never give up. In a far away time that no longer exists in our reality, it felt challenging to see the prosperity that is our right. But we changed the station of the radio to love and love always wins ❤️

So come enjoy a farm squeezed lemonade with some of our chickens and give them thanks for our amazing farm fresh egg sandwiches…and Ken our Rooster who does an amazing job at keeping the ladies happy.

It’s not the final product. It’s not the moment of grand celebration. It’s everything before and after that.

It’s sitting in a farmhouse coffee shop for hours obsessing over an eighth of an inch of spacing.

It’s just showing up for something again and again.

It’s holding the balance of good enough and not quite there yet.

Trying is doing. It just doesn’t feel glamorous.

The work of becoming is work.

🌅🫐Looking for a fun thing to do in The Berkshires today?

Come one, come all! Little hands, big hands, helping hands. We welcome you to our family farm 🫐SECOND DROP FARM🫐. We have opened our fields for you to come pick the freshest, naturally grown blueberries! Our blueberry bushes were planted many years ago by the farmer everyone knew and loved Kenny Wirtes🧑‍🌾

But this year things feel different….and BETTER than ever. Our new farm to table cafe is open for you to come in and enjoy a locally roasted, nitro cold brew ice coffee or a gigantic fair style farm squeezed lemonade. We are proud of the delicious and high quality sandwiches we serve. All of our sandwiches comes from our own hens that are pasture raised right here on the farm. Take a seat outside and you might even make a new hen friend….or Ken, the white rooster. We named him Ken because he likes to lounge in our daughter’s Barbie playset. Our chickens are part of our family and our goal is to make everyone we meet a part of the Second Drop Family ❤️ We Hope to see you soon.
