Not busy? Stop by the new location...tear up a few pieces of laminate so we can get to the black and white...

Things happen for a reason...I pulled up the laminate flooring..yummm classic deli black and white tile..everyday proves it was the right time to move and this is the right place.

Howdy Reubens and Reuben-ettes! 💗💛🖤💙
It’s reviews like this that let me know I’ve made the right choice in opening a new, bigger location.
Southern Market has been good to DOV-A-LICIOUS, but now it’s time to keep following the dream and take the next big step.
HERE WE COME, MANHEIM TOWNSHIP!!! 🎉
A bigger location, more room, more possibilities, and plenty of DOV-A-LICIOUS goodness coming your way!
It’s going to be DOV-A-LICIOUS! 💗💛🖤💙

I will still be open a few weeks yet at Southern Market

Hey Reubens and Reuben-ettes, BIG NEWS! 🎉🥪

After months of planning and working on this since April, it’s finally happening!

DOV-A-LICIOUS is MOVING!

Our new home will be at 1573 Manheim Pike in Manheim Township, in the same shopping center as Chili’s and KFC, right behind them, in the former Taylor Chip location.

I have officially given Southern Market my 30-day notice. It’s definitely bittersweet closing this chapter, because Southern Market gave DOV-A-LICIOUS a place to grow and helped us become what we are today.

We’ll be closed for about a month while we get the new place ready, and then it’ll be time for the GRAND OPENING!

I’ve been working toward this since April, and I’m beyond excited to finally be able to share the news.

Thank you to Southern Market, and especially thank you to every one of you who has supported DOV-A-LICIOUS. You helped make this possible.

The next chapter is coming.

P.S the sign isnt up yet at a mock up from the sign company

When people talk about you, sometimes it says a whole lot more about them than it does about you. Jealousy can make people say some pretty ridiculous things. And when others choose to believe the BS without ever taking the time to find out the truth for themselves, well, that tells you something too.

I’ve learned to keep my head up, be kind, treat people with respect (thank you, Deborah Faye, for those lessons), and keep moving forward. I don’t need to argue with everyone who thinks they know my story. I know who I am, I know where I’ve been, and most importantly, I know where I’m going.

Stay ten steps ahead, and sometimes just let them think they’re ahead. 😉

Your time and energy are too valuable to waste trying to prove yourself to people who have already made up their minds. Besides, karma can be a bitch, and you never know when she’s going to sneak up and kick you in the ass. 😂

Be kind. Be thoughtful. Work hard. Keep your sense of humor. And let what you accomplish do the talking.

Great things are happening at DOV-A-LICIOUS and our sister company DirtyDov sauces and spices. Stay tuned.

We walked around Southern Market Eatery (Lancaster, PA) with lots of great choices of foods of different cultures. But we saw the claim of "Best Ruebens", so decided to do a test.
As former B&B owners, transplants from Philadelphia and New York City with their great delis, and well-known foodies and food reviewer, this would be a taste test of a Corned Beef special sandwich (there are required ingredients to be presented).
So a slightly toasted rye bread, plenty of thinly slided corned beef, and cole slaw was presented...all the proper ingredients.
Good taste, although the cole slaw was thinly shedded and a bit wet for the bread. So a 4.87 out of 5. with a good balance of sufficient meat versus a whisper of slaw. Well done!
This taste familiar...then we realized the owner, David (pronounced Dah'Vid) Davis had a former deli near our B&B, and we had enjoyed his reuben sandwiches as well. So we had a great conversation with Dah'Vid, caught up on ole times and were presented with a treat of a free two 'black & white" cookies...yummy.
So, get your deli-wanting tastes satisfied here...no disappointments here, just great tastes for a reasonable costs. Check out this place on Facebook for new food adventures.
Sorry, no grading of ATMOSPHERE since this is an open court eatery.
