Win Prizes and Help Crown Lakewood’s Hottest Spot!
Registration is now OPEN — Play through August 29!

The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce invites you to play Spot What’s Hot 2026, a city-wide summer challenge that rewards you for visiting local shops, restaurants, services, and favorite neighborhood spots across Lakewood.

❋ How it Works ❋
• Register to play (free and easy!)
• Visit participating locations through August 29
• Scan the business’s QR code to check in and earn points (or submit a photo for approval if you’re having trouble checking in)
• Snap a photo with a Spot What’s Hot photo prop for bonus points
• Visit again! You can check in at the same business again after 24 hours
• Complete the entire map for a special 100-point bonus
• Earn points, climb the leaderboard, and compete for prizes!

❋ Prizes ❋
The top three point earners at the end of the challenge will win community gift card prizes! The gift cards contributed by participating businesses will be divided among the three winners.

❋ Trouble Checking In? ❋
If your QR code doesn’t scan or you have trouble checking in (this can occasionally happen depending on your mobile connection), don’t worry—you can still get credit!
1. Open the business you are visiting. You should see their photo, description and three buttons on the bottom of their location block.
2. Tap Check In.
3. At the bottom of the Check In screen, tap “Having trouble? Submit a photo for approval.”
4. Upload a photo taken at that business and we’ll review it.
5. Since you are taking photos anyway, go to Activities and snap a selfie with the Spot What’s Hot sunshine photo prop for bonus points.

While you’re competing, so are the businesses! Your check-ins help participating businesses compete for the title of Lakewood’s Hottest Spot of 2026 and the traveling Chamber Cup.
