Best Burgers Our goal has always been to serve the highest quality food with excellent customer service. BEST BURGERS opened for business in Lakewood in August 1990.

Rick and Cathy Best founded the company in 1989 with their store in Port Orchard. Its quick success prompted the BEST BURGERS here in Lakewood and another BEST BURGERS in Mount Vernon, which opened in 1991. All the locations were owned and operated by family members. The Port Orchard and Mount Vernon BEST BURGERS were sold in the mid ‘90s with the Lakewood store being the only BEST BURGERS still serving the greater Tacoma area. The same family has operated BEST BURGERS of Lakewood since 1990. Terry and Nancy Flajole along with their three sons have worked through the years to provide a family friendly fast-food alternative. The oldest son, Brian, worked his way through college working at the family business and now is manager, continuing the same emphasis of unsurpassed customer service and delicious, made to order food at a great value. We are grateful for our dedicated employees and for our wonderful customers who continue to choose BEST BURGERS of Lakewood.

Happy Friday, peeps! Guess what?!

CUSTER RD IS OPENNNNNN! 🥳

There’s still a little work happening around, so it’s not back to 100%, but it’s open and you’re able to access Best Burgers from both entrances now. Hooray!

Because of this, as of yesterday, DoorDash is back up too! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Feel free to come in or order in, we’ve got you covered either way!

Good afternoon, peeps! How are you all doing this fine Wednesday afternoon?

We've received some calls with questions about if we're open and how to get to us during the construction. Yes, we are OPEN! There are 2 driveways to reach us...the one on Custer Rd is obviously closed, and our second one is on Bridgeport Way. If you're coming from South Tacoma Way/Lakewood Towne Center area, you'll cross over the Custer/Bridgeport intersection, and then on the right side you'll see the entrance to Sound Credit Union, and our driveway is right after, before you hit Public Storage. If you're coming from the opposite way, you'll turn left into our driveway after Public Storage, and before Sound Credit Union. We have painted lines and arrows to help with the flow of traffic, and these seem to help very well so far. Our hours during construction are 9am-9pm, 7 days a week!

Hope this helps! We hate to think that some of you aren't coming to see us because you think we're closed during this time. We're here and ready to see all your beautiful faces! Drive safe out there!

Hey hey peeps! Long time no post!

Day one of the big Custer Rd closure is almost in the books! It’s going to be a long one, but this is just a friendly reminder that we will be here and we are OPEN!

You may have noticed our new concrete striping. This is to help with the flow of traffic, since everyone will access our business from Bridgeport. Please stay within the parameters of the new lanes, it will significantly help get you all in and out as quickly as we can!

If you haven’t already, please check out the City of Lakewood’s website, they have some great information about the road closure, including short videos from the businesses affected and how we can be accessed. The link to our particular project is below.

We appreciate you all! We wouldn’t be who we are today without this great city, and we hope to see your smiling faces! Just remember, there’s tasty food and treats at the end of the line! 🍦

Be safe out there peeps! Please obey the road closure signs and respect the construction workers. This will be done before you know it!

Happy *SUNNY* Saturday, peeps!

Wow! What a glorious day today! If you’re out and about we are here, slingin’ burgers, and ready to feed all your beautiful faces!

Quick reminder that tomorrow is Easter and we are CLOSED for the day so we can enjoy it with our family and friends. We’ll be back Monday at normal business hours.

Next week is looking to be beautiful as well, we hope to see you at some point! If you celebrate, we hope you have a very blessed day tomorrow!

We’re baaaaaack…open on Mondays! 🥳

Today’s the day, we are back at it 7 days a week, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! That being said we do have a couple updates for you:

Updated hours! We are now open starting at 9am Monday-Saturday, and 10am on Sundays.

Updated pricing! You’ll notice some updated pricing on some of our menu items. Due to the rising costs of these items, it was unfortunately unavoidable. We hope you understand!

We’re looking forward to getting back to the 7 day grind with you all! Come say hello, especially if we haven’t seen you in a while. We miss you! 🫶🏼

It’s New Years Eve, and we close at 7! We are also closed all day tomorrow, returning on Friday the 2nd!

Hello hello, peeps! Hope you’ve been enjoying your holiday season so far!

This week is Christmas (insert holiday screaming here) and we have some altered hours to tell you about:

Christmas Eve: we are open until 3pm
Christmas Day: we are closed

Dont forget we have our Christmas specials that you guys have been taking full advantage of, even though I didn’t post them on here! Tomorrow you can buy 1 deluxe combo meal and get a 2nd deluxe burger for 1/2 price, and then Wednesday a free regular fry with the purchase of a fish sandwich! If you haven’t tried the fish, you’re missing out…it’s pretty 🔥 We also have gift cards available for purchase, they make the perfect stocking stuffer!

If we don’t see you before our little holiday break, we hope you have the best holiday with your friends and family! We truly love you all!

It’s the day before Turkey day, peeps!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and whether you’re prepping a full meal, a side, or your Thanksgiving stretchy pants, we are here for you tonight to cook so you don’t have to! We are open until 9pm, like normal, and then CLOSED tomorrow so we can spend the day with our friends and families. We’ll be back open at 9am on Friday to refuel those Black Friday shoppers and travelers. If you have any out of town guests, bring them by so they can have a taste of the good stuff 🤩

You, our wonderful customers, are also our family, and we hope you all have an awesome day and get to spend it with those you love. We are so thankful for you!
