Mars Bar & Café Local Lakewood Bar The only things that don't change are the cheap drinks and the friendly bartenders.
(488)

At this chameleon of corner bars, one night you may find yourself surrounded by college students shouting to be heard over blaring rap-metal; on another, you may end up quietly discussing "The Simpsons" with an investment banker. A fixture in Lakewood for decades, the bar still attracts generations of 20-something revelers. Small, it holds little more than the obligatory foosball table, but the beer selection is larger than most neighborhood bars. The in-demand jukebox is one of the most eclectic in town, covering everything from Sinatra and Dylan to Radiohead.

🚀 22 YEARS ON MARS! 🎉❤️💛

Today marks 22 incredible years of Mars Bar & Café! 🍻🥙

Since October 15, 2004, we’ve been serving up great food, cold drinks, unforgettable memories, and of course, some of Cleveland’s favorite gyros!

What started as a dream has turned into 22 years of friendships, laughter, celebrations, and a whole lot of tzatziki! ❤️

And today we’re celebrating another very special birthday! 🎂

Please join us in wishing a HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mama Mars — George’s mom! ❤️🇬🇷

She’s the woman behind our original homemade tzatziki recipe, the very same recipe that’s been part of Mars since the beginning! 🥒🧄

To our amazing customers, friends, family, and staff — THANK YOU for 22 incredible years. We wouldn’t be here without you!

Here’s to 22 years of memories and many more to come! 🥂
