Hi everyone! ❤️ Just wanted to share another update on Mom—she is doing SOOO good!! 🥹🫶🏼

She is HOME and continuing to make amazing progress every single day! She’s getting stronger and stronger, and she has her post-op appointment on Tuesday. She’ll also be starting cardiac therapy three times a week for the next 12 weeks to continue building her strength and helping her heart recover. One step at a time, she is getting closer and closer to feeling completely like herself again! ❤️

We are so incredibly grateful for how far she has come. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has prayed for her, checked in, sent messages, left comments, and kept our family in your thoughts throughout this entire journey. Your love, prayers, and support have meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

Mom is getting back to her normal self and is truly better than ever!! 🥹❤️ After everything she has been through, seeing her home, getting stronger, and moving forward every day is such a blessing.

She is so excited to see everyone again and can’t wait to get back to doing the things she loves! We appreciate and love you all so much. Thank you for continuing to pray for Mom and cheer her on through the next part of her recovery! 🫶🏼❤️

Update on Mom! ❤️

Mom is doing so good and continuing to make progress! She has been moved three different times and is now officially in a regular room on the cardiology medicine unit! 🙏❤️

She has had a few minor setbacks over the last couple of days, but she continues to work so hard every single day to regain her strength. We are taking things one day at a time and doing everything we can to get her stronger and, hopefully, HOME soon! 🏡❤️

We are so incredibly thankful for how far she has come and for everyone who has continued to check in, send love, and keep Mom and our family in your prayers. Please continue praying for her strength, healing, and continued progress. We appreciate every single prayer more than you know! ❤️🙏

UPDATE ON MOM! ❤️🙏🏼

We finally have some really good news to share — Mom is doing so, so good! ❤️ Yesterday, she had her permanent pacemaker placed, and since then she has continued to make more and more progress!

She is still physically in the ICU right now, but they are no longer considering her an ICU patient! 🙌🏼 At this point, we are pretty much just waiting for a room to become available so she can be moved to the regular floor. After everything she has been through, seeing her continue to move in the right direction feels like such a huge blessing.

We truly cannot thank everyone enough for all of the kind words, messages, love, thoughts, and prayers you have sent our way. Our family has felt every bit of the love and support, and it means more to us than we could ever put into words. ❤️

Please continue to keep Mom in your prayers as she keeps working hard, getting stronger, and healing. We are praying that she continues making progress and that, if everything keeps going well, we can hopefully bring her HOME sometime next week! 🥹❤️🙏🏼

Hi, Maria Elena’s family! ❤️

I wanted to share another update with everyone about my mom, Jacque.

Unfortunately, we’ve had a little hiccup in her recovery. Since her open-heart surgery on Tuesday, her heart has not been able to regulate its rhythm properly on its own. The doctors have been using a temporary pacemaker while giving her heart some time to hopefully recover and begin functioning normally again. Unfortunately, it hasn’t responded the way they had hoped.

Because of this, her surgeon has decided that she will need to go back into surgery tomorrow to have a permanent pacemaker placed to help regulate her heart. At this time, we don’t have an exact time for the procedure, but she is currently scheduled for sometime tomorrow.

With everything going on, Maria Elena’s will be CLOSED tomorrow so our family can be together and focus on Mom and her recovery. We will continue to keep everyone updated as we learn more.

We truly cannot thank everyone enough for the incredible amount of love, support, prayers, messages, and understanding you have shown our family through all of this. ❤️

Please continue to keep my mom in your prayers as she faces yet another procedure. We are praying for a successful surgery, for her heart to grow stronger, and for her healing to continue moving in the right direction. She has already been through so much, and we are holding onto our faith and taking this recovery one day at a time.

Thank you for continuing to surround Mom and our entire family with so much love and prayer. It means more to us than we could ever put into words. 🙏🏼❤️

We will be CLOSED today, Thursday 8/27, to give our family some much-needed time to rest and recharge.

We’re so happy to share that Jacque is doing amazing! 🙏❤️ Right now, the family just needs a little time to rest after everything these past few days have brought.

We will be OPEN tomorrow, Friday 8/28, and we can’t wait to see you all! 🌮❤️
