A little about when it was Lakeside Cafe

I woke up this morning feeling unsettled and emotional. I couldn't quite understand why, so went into prayer. As I paused and looked at the date, I realized that today marks 10 years since we lost everything in an arson fire. It's amazing how, even after all this time, the memories can still come rushing back. There are moments when I'm looking for something and suddenly remember it burned in the fire. We were left with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. That fire took everything from us, and two teenagers were never found. It remains a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly life can change. Yet, in the middle of such devastating loss, God reminded me that He was still with us. My husband's work tools survived. My Bible and my crucifix were not burned. That may seem like small things to some, but to me they were powerful reminders that faith remained when everything else was gone.
Ten years later, I still grieve of what was lost, but also thank God for carrying us through every step since then. His faithfulness has never left us. We decided to invest in a business and our lease was not renewed so that hurt even more, but we got our home and many farm animal

Good afternoon everyone,
I sure miss you all! I had turned off the account because I felt it would be impossible to come back. However, after speaking with friends and many of our loyal customers, I found the inspiration and encouragement to try again.Since we have continued catering, I decided to explore a different path and work toward rebuilding.
