Good morning and happy Thursday, Polk County.

We have very little to post about because our customers have all been positive, satisfied, and generally uninteresting.

This leaves me (social media manager) in a rough position because you all only react to negative or sarcastic posts. (Pictures of snow? Absolutely not. Deals? Gross.) If you all could create some drama this weekend, maybe just throw something, break a plate– I’m not picky– that would be really helpful.

Tasty Tuesday

When: today, 4:30-9pm

Tickets: $2.50 ($25 for 10) tickets can be purchased from 4:30pm-7:30pm

Where to buy tickets: Catapult, which is where the tasting will begin (502 e main st) or online (link below)

Participating locations: Fresco’s Southern Kitchen and Bar, Zukku Sushi, Vampire Penguin, Northern Sky Coffee, 3 Jays Sweets,Teriyaki Madness, Lakeland Treats & Trinkets, Swan Brewing, Sabu Ramen, Blue Dog Craft Barbecue, Jimmy Johns, JJ’s Fusion Khaana, Black & Brew, Lakeland Loft, Smith’s American Tavern, Molly’s McHugh’s Irish Pub, Cake Makers Studio, Bedrock Wings, Palace Pizza

How it works: take your tickets to any of these participating locations in exchange for their features Tasty Tuesday food or drink.

At VP: your ticket gets you a mini cookies and cream snow with mallow cream sauce and Oreo crumble (cannot be taken to-go) 

Limitations: none! You can use all 10 of them in one location if you want

$2.50 for a snow?!

Tasty Tuesday is the most affordable way to try some of Lakeland’s best eats. $25 gets you 10 tickets to visit 20 different spots downtown (list in the comments)

You can purchase your tickets at Catapult which is where the tastings begin. Hopefully you’ll make your way to us because $2.50 for snow is CRAZY and you shouldn’t pass up the deal 👀

It’s official! Starting this Monday, Bat Brew will be opening at 7am for the next two weeks.

We’ve been told that we aren’t open early enough, and while we are skeptical anyone will come that early, we are willing to give it a temporary shot.
