September’s got a little outlaw in it. But one night means something extra to us.

Dolly Parton Night Market — Saturday, September 19 | 6–9PM 🦋

We’ve had this night on the calendar and in the works all year because our admiration for Dolly Parton runs deep. The songs, the rhinestones, the humor, the heart — and a lifetime spent giving back. Dolly has always been a whole lot more than a country music icon to us.

So the show goes on, only now it means a little more.

We’ll gather on the lawn to honor the Queen of Country, shop local vendors, raise money for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, play the songs that made us love her in the first place, and share a moment of silence in her honor.

And September’s got a couple more good reasons to meet us on the lawn:

🏴‍☠️ Friday, September 11 | Pirates of the Caribbean Movie Night — 8PM under the stars with themed cocktails, Pirate Stuart + a pirate-inspired raffle.

🐾 Saturday, September 26 | Dog Days of Summer — 11AM–2PM with adoptable pups, dog-friendly vendors, raffles + support for the Humane Society.

Three September events. One lawn. Plenty of good trouble.

Pirates of the Caribbean Movie Night takes over the lawn Friday, September 11 — and we’re going full Black Pearl.

Jack Sparrow will be roaming the grounds. Costumes are strongly encouraged. There’ll be treasure to find. And we built a pirate + mermaid drink menu for the whole damn crew. ⚓️

🍹 SWASHBUCKLER
Captain Morgan USA , vanilla, Orange Crush + grenadine, finished with sworded cherries and a pirate flag.

🧜‍♀️ MERMAID’S TREASURE
Tito's Handmade Vodka , blue curaçao, sour + coconut with a fresh orange slice.

🏴‍☠️ LITTLE BUCCANEER
Orange soda, vanilla + grenadine, served in our pink cup with a pirate straw.

🧜‍♀️ LIL MERMAID
Pineapple crème soda, blue curaçao syrup + coconut, served in our pink cup with a pirate straw.

There’ll also be a treasure chest for the little scallywags, so bring the whole crew — just don’t expect us to behave ourselves because children are present.

Dress like a pirate. Dress like a mermaid. Dress like you’ve been marooned for three days and just found the rum.

Some voices become part of the soundtrack. Some people become part of the culture.

Dolly Parton was both.

A songwriter. A storyteller. A hell of a businesswoman. A humanitarian with a heart as big as the songs she gave us. She made country music brighter, kinder, louder and a whole lot more rhinestoned.

We’re gonna miss her.

But every time Jolene comes through the speakers, every time somebody turns it up for 9 to 5, every rhinestone catches the light and every damn good country song fills the room — Dolly lives on.

Today, we’re playing her a little louder at Grievous Angel and raising a glass to one of the very best to ever do it.
