Sometimes life changes your plans in ways you never expect.

In July, as everyone knows, we went back to China for what was supposed to be a two-week family visit. But during the trip, Jian unexpectedly had to have thyroid surgery and lymph node dissection. What was supposed to be a short vacation suddenly became a completely different journey. He had to stay in China for another month to recover, and everything I had planned was turned upside down.

I came back to the U.S. with our three children and continued doing what I had to do.

We got home around 2 a.m. one night. The very next day, I went back to the restaurant to prepare everything, and on the third day, we opened our doors and went back to work.

Honestly, it was one of the hardest months for me.

I was trying to take care of the restaurant, take care of three kids, worry about Jian , and keep everything moving like normal. There were definitely moments when I felt tired, overwhelmed, and didn’t know how I was going to get through it.

But I wasn’t alone.

My three kids were there with me every step of the way. ❤️ They never complained. They stayed by my side, comforted me, encouraged me, and gave me the strength to keep going when I felt like I had nothing left.

I am so thankful for them. They may be young, but during that month, they gave me more strength than they probably realized.

I’m also incredibly thankful for my employees. Thank you for helping me keep the restaurant going and for understanding when I needed extra help. I truly appreciate every one of you.

And to all of our customers and friends — thank you. ❤️

After all these years, your continued support means more to me than I can put into words. Every order, every visit, every kind message, and every familiar face at our restaurant has been a part of keeping us going.

Thankfully, Jian has now recovered, and things are finally getting back to normal.

We went through an unexpected and difficult month, but we made it through.

Sometimes you don’t realize how strong you can be until life puts you in a situation where you simply have to keep moving forward.

Today, I just feel grateful.

Grateful for my family.
Grateful for my children.
Grateful for my employees.
Grateful for my friends.
And grateful for every customer who has supported us over the years.

Thank you for being there for us, even when you didn’t know how much we needed it. ❤️

We made it through. 🙏
I hope from here on, everything will be smooth, peaceful, healthy, and full of good things.

LOOK at these Amoroso bread,Nobody can makes bread like we do Philly style 100% Anything can be a cheesesteak but it's not a PHILLY Cheesesteak unless its on the original Amoroso bread! Amoroso’s make a Philly Cheesesteak DIFFERENT!
