I want to take a moment to share something very important with everyone who has been a part of the Winners Circle family over the years.
Winners Circle has been in existence for 25 years, and for the last 16 of those years, this building has been our home. It has become so much more than just a building to me. It’s where friendships have been made, memories have been created, big games have been watched, celebrations have happened, and where so many of you have walked through our doors and become part of our family.
The owner of the building has decided to put it up for sale. I’ve been approached by several friends, customers, and people in our community asking if they could start a GoFundMe to help Winners Circle purchase the building.
Of course, I said yes.
My dream is to purchase this building and give Winners Circle a forever home.
There is interest from larger groups that are looking at the property primarily for the land and could potentially replace what is here with another chain, a medical office, or something completely different. I understand that’s business, but for me, this place represents so much more.
I want to keep Winners Circle right where it is.
Not just for me, but for the 25 employees and their families who depend on this business. Some of our employees have been with us for 10, 12, even 15 years. They have put a huge part of their lives into Winners Circle, and they are family to me.
And most importantly, I want to keep this place for all of you who have supported us for 25 years.
I also want to clear up one thing. The GoFundMe was not started by some stranger or someone who just decided to do this. It was started by a very close family friend whom I have known since birth. They came to me because they wanted to help give Winners Circle a chance to stay here, and I am incredibly grateful for that.
Raising the money needed for a down payment on this building is going to be a huge challenge. I know that. I also know that we have an incredible community of people who have supported Winners Circle through the years.
If you would like to contribute, any amount would mean more to me than I could possibly put into words. If you can’t or don’t want to contribute, that is completely okay too. There is absolutely no pressure and no hard feelings.
Just sharing this post, talking about it, continuing to come through our doors, and supporting Winners Circle means a lot.
For 25 years, you have helped make Winners Circle what it is.
Now I’m hoping we can find a way to keep it here for the next 25 years and beyond.
