Thank you everyone for your interest in this venture! I am so encouraged by the response this little place has garnered. I will say that we have pushed the opening back a few months and are targeting the fall of this year. God has worked absolute miracles through this opportunity and Shirley and I are teaming with Ed Kirkland and his wife to bring this coffee shop in to existence. Ed owns the Harvest Meat Market in the LAKELAND area and has been quite successful in his venture here. I am asking for your continued prayers for this ministry and Across the Street Coffee. As we draw nearer to the opening, I will be sending more and more communications out. Anyone who wants to be a part of this ministry, please let me know through either this site or my Facebook site. Our plans are to provide you a great cup of fair trade coffee and an affordable price, mix that with fun, fellowship, open mic night, Christian karaoke, live bands and on Sunday nights praise and worship, along with open Wi-Fi and a war room, and you have the makings of a place where people can come and enjoy themselves for an evening without spending a ton of money. Bring the family, relax and have a good time. There will be no preaching, no denominations, just Christians coming together to raise the name of Jesus!
