In a recent conversation, Chef Donnie sat down with Greg Johnsman of Marsh Hen Mill to talk about Jimmy Red Corn and the years of trial, failure, and persistence it took to bring it back to the table. What began with one of three original ears gifted by Ted Tuning became an eight-year effort to grow enough of the rare corn to sustainably share with chefs.
