I hope everyone has been doing well! I haven't posted in quite some time, and that's mainly because we did things a little different this summer....
We found ourself with 2 beautiful 🐓 roosters 🐓 in the spring. While trying to find homes for them, I got really lazy/overwhelmingly busy the last month of school and wasn't collecting eggs daily.
Thanks to these pesky roosters, I went out one day and found three 🐔hens🐔 laying on three different nests of 🥚eggs🥚. Since I wasn't sure the state of the eggs, I left them and decided to let nature take its course!
Approximately a month later, we were blessed with adorable baby 🐣chicks🐣!
We are finally rooster FREE and fertilized egg FREE (it can take up to a month past having a rooster to stop getting fertilized eggs🙎♀️)
Due to that, we are ready to start getting eggs out the door again! Please let me know if you are interested!
