Precious family memories are forged at the lake, often while sharing meals. Mealtime serves as the perfect pause during a busy day at the lake to recharge and reconnect with loved ones. ✨

In short, Fika is an intentional pause, spent with friends or family, while enjoying coffee & treats. It can be a noun (Let’s have a Fika) or a verb (Do you want to Fika?). Lakes Fika is the bridge between our Scandinavian heritage and our Minnesota Lake Life roots. We hope every visit to Lakes Fika serves as a reminder to take a moment to enjoy the blessing of fellowship and to cherish life’s simple pleasures. ✨

September 5th will be our last regular day open for the 2026 season except for a few special events! Save these dates to your calendar, there will be more details to come!

Lakes Fika is participating in the 6th Annual Lakes Area Coffee Crawl! ☕️🍁 Tickets go on sale tomorrow! Tickets usually sell out fast BUT October 10th will be one of the days we are opening up special for so even if you don’t get a ticket come and see us for a fall drink, pumpkin treat and some shopping! 🍁🎃

As a family run coffee shop expecting a new baby this fall, we have made the difficult decision to close for the off-season this year in an attempt to make more time for family bonding and slow moments! ❤️❤️

We will be closed for the winter season starting after Labor Day with September 5th being our last day open but we are very excited to open up for a few special events this fall! There will be more details to come but make sure to save these dates in your calendar! 🎉🍂☕️🎄
