✨ Vendor Spotlight: Shurms Candy 🍬

One of the things that makes Cookies & Cream special is partnering with amazing local businesses—and Shurms Candy is one of our favorites!

Located just down the road in Oakland Township, Shurms Candy has been creating smiles since 2012. In 2018, they introduced their signature Michi-Gummies—delicious gummy candy in the shape of both Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas. It's a fun treat that celebrates everything we love about being Michiganders!

We're proud to offer Michi-Gummies as one of our ice cream toppings. They add a burst of fruity flavor, a pop of color, and a little Michigan pride to every scoop.

Thank you to Kevin, Jackie, and the entire Shurms Candy team for creating such a unique product and for helping us support another outstanding local Michigan business.

🍯 A Sweet Local Collaboration! ☕🍨

Some of the best partnerships start with great people and a shared love of quality ingredients.

Charlie at Wee Bean Coffee Co. handcrafts the delicious honeycomb candy we use to top our Pooh Bear Parfait, and you'll also find that same honeycomb featured in Wee Bean's popular Pooh Bear Latte!

Despite its name, honeycomb isn't made by bees. It's a light, airy candy with a crisp, crunchy texture that gets its signature honeycomb pattern from thousands of tiny bubbles created during cooking.

Even sweeter is the story behind it. Honeycomb has long been a favorite treat throughout Ireland and the British Isles, making this collaboration especially meaningful since Charlie and Victoria's parents are from Ireland. It's a fun way to share a little Irish tradition right here in downtown Lake Orion.

📦🍦📣 Our LAST Kids Night of the summer is going to be a BIG one!

Join us Tuesday, August 25 from 6–9 PM at Cookies & Cream for an evening of creativity, ice cream and DRAGON SPIRIT! 💚🤍

🏠 LITTLE LAKE ORION!
We’ve been saving up BIG cardboard boxes, and now we’re turning them over to the kids! We’ll have colorful tape, markers and plenty of cardboard ready for some serious imagination.

Help us create Little Lake Orion — our very own cardboard neighborhood! Build a house, shop, ice cream stand, fire station or anything else you think our little community needs.

Kids can also grab a box and create something of their very own to take home! A car? Rocket ship? Robot? Dollhouse? Dragon? There are no rules — just create!

📣 AND AT 7 PM — GET READY FOR SOME DRAGON SPIRIT!

Lake Orion Middle School Cheer is joining us to teach the kids how to chant along with them at Lake Orion football games while showing off their new stunts!

Come cheer them on for their FIRST PERFORMANCE OF THE SEASON and learn how to help bring the Dragon Spirit to the stands! 🐉📣
