And the last beach brisket. Sniff, sniff. No, I'm not crying. It smells really good.

Hard to believe it's the very last weekend at the beach. Thanks to this great community for all of your support.

I'll be open at 5 Friday, at Aztalan Historical Society from 11:00-2:30 on Saturday, and then open for dinner on Saturday back at the lake.

* All canned b**r/cocktails/w**e are heavily discounted.

Friday Menu:

* Smoked salmon, smoked brisket, pulled pork, and dry-rubbed, grilled pork loin.

* Brisket w/ naan bread, chimmichuri, and chips.

* Sides: smoked cream-cheese mashed potatoes, coconut rice, mac-n-cheese, refrigerator pickles, kettle chips, tangy slaw.

Saturday Menu:

* Smoked ribs, pulled pork, grilled chicken thighs, and brisket chili.

* Sides: baked beans, mac-n-cheese, refrigerator pickles, tangy slaw, kettle chips.

Public Service Announcement:

1.) For all you fans of Frostie Freeze in Fort, you may not be aware that they are closing a week early this year. 9/19 is their last day. I consider this my civic duty to inform you.

2.) Unfortunately, the weather's looking bad for tomorrow and Saturday. Most likely, I will be closed both days...and it's not just so I can to Frostie Freeze every day this week.

3.) That leaves one weekend left at the beach: 9/25 - 9/26. If you can't make it and would have liked to, no worries: I'll be at Tyranena Brewing Company: Legendary Wisconsin B**r in the b**r garden Fridays and Saturdays in October, beginning on 10/16.

Menu, an announcement, and a request.

Menu for tonight: Smoked salmon w/ a maple buerre monte sauce, brisket, pulled pork, and mediterranean (I can't believe it - I spelled that correctly on the first go! No squiggly spell check line. Shall I try to spell the state in which Boston is located? Better not.) chicken thighs. Sides are mac-n-cheese, baked beans, kettle chips, and tangy slaw.

Announcement: Apparently, there is a motion on the agenda regarding the parking situation at Sandy Beach for Tuesday, 9/15. From what I understand, the motion is to make parking free after 5 pm. So, if you would like to voice your opinion in support of or in oppostion to the motion, you should go to city hall on Tuesday and be there by 6 pm to sign up to speak.

Request: I only have a few days left at Sandy Beach, and I really need to burn through all my canned b**r, w**e, and Carbliss / Sun Cruisers. I will be offering very friendly pricing on these items going forward. I know I can count on all of you. Please don't make me drink it all :)

Happy Labor Day. Beautiful morning down here at the lake.

I'll be open about noon w/ brisket, chicken, and pork tacos, bacon wrapped smoked brats, and beef hot dogs.

I'll also have 12 1/2 racks of baby back ribs. They should be done around 1 pm.

I'll be open until 5 pm today.

I should have everything ready to go by 4 pm today if anyone wants to get an early start.

Peri Peri chicken thighs, 1/2 racks of baby back, smoked pork, Mac and cheese bowls, pork tacos.

Sides are baked potato, baked beans, coconut rice, big pickles, tangy slaw, and kettle chips.
