We all knew this day was coming - but we have been borrowing Aiden Coleman from the science world long enough.

After graduating from Michigan State University last year in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology, he stuck around at Dick’s Pour House to help us out before making his next move. Now, that move is taking him to Grand Rapids, where he’ll be pursuing jobs in his field.

Around here, Aiden has been our Swiss Army knife. Put him pretty much anywhere and he could do the job. He was REALLY handy to have around and we were so grateful to have him.

As much as we would happily keep him, this was never supposed to be his final destination. We are incredibly proud of him and excited for what’s ahead.

TODAY IS HIS LAST SHIFT. He’s in the kitchen cooking up lunch today and will be serving you all on the floor tonight!

Come in, say hi and help us send Aiden off to his next adventure properly.

We took a couple Fridays off.

Consider the nonsense officially resumed.

Open Jam takes over the Pour House at 9:30ish.
Musicians, dust off your gear and get your name in the mix.

Everyone else, claim a seat, order a drink and give them a crowd worth playing for.

And with Locals Summer almost here, it’s about time we got Friday nights rolling again.

Monday, we tried.

FOR NOW.

Turns out wishing for enough staff and actually having enough staff are two different things.

Today is our last Monday open for a bit. We gave it a shot, and it was going great… until life happened. Unexpected staffing changes, summer help heading back to school soon, and a crew that’s been giving everything they’ve got.

We’re bummed. We know some of you are gonna be too.

We are so sorry for the change, and we appreciate everyone who came out to support our Monday experiment.

If you can send reliable help our way maybe we can change that!
Still hiring for servers, hosts, kitchen prep, kitchen cook.

Now we’re back.

Sorry Folks!! Open Jam is taking one more week off.
