To Our Community… ❤️
A recent review sparked hundreds of comments about Asiel’s. Some made us smile. Some were hard to read.
First, thank you.
Whether you’ve been eating with us for 27 years, stopped coming years ago, or just discovered us, your opinion matters. We don’t exist without this community.
Today I met with our leadership team, and we made a commitment.
Not to defend ourselves.
Not to explain away criticism.
But to listen.
We’re beginning a complete review of our recipes, our kitchen processes, and every item on our menu. We’re asking hard questions about consistency because every guest deserves the same great experience every single time they walk through our doors.
We’re also excited to start sharing more of our story. Over the years, we’ve realized we haven’t done a very good job of telling you about the things that matter to us—what we make from scratch, the ingredients we choose, and the care that goes into preparing your food.
For those of you who defended us this week… thank you. Seeing so many of you share your favorite memories and favorite dishes meant more than you know.
For those of you who shared criticism… we thank you too!
Our mission has always been changing people’s lives, one exceptional act of service at a time. Somewhere along the way, if we haven’t lived up to that for every guest, then that’s on us to improve.
