❤️ Generations of family. A table full of memories.

I often say that Harnden’s Dairy Bar is the kitchen table of our community—a place where families and friends gather, share stories, and create memories. On Friday, the Clayton family reminded me just how special that is.

Their family photo represents the **first, second, and fourth generations** who have enjoyed meals here. What a blessing to see a family’s Dairy Bar tradition continue, right down to little Harper! ❤️

Pictured are Bill and Evelyn Ward; Tammy and James Clayton; Tracy Clayton Henderson with baby Harper Moore; Lloyd Clayton; Anna Parsons; Jack and Carol Clayton; Leon Parsons; and Curtis Henderson.

When Lloyd shared everyone’s names, he added, "And we love the restaurant. And thank you very much.”

Lloyd, the gratitude is ours. Thank you to the Clayton family for making the Dairy Bar part of your family’s story. Since my parents opened our doors in 1952, families like yours have given this little restaurant its heart.

As my dad loved to say, Come create a memory! We’re grateful you keep coming back to make more. ❤️🍔🍦

🏈💙 Celebrating our Brazoswood Players of the Week!

We were proud to welcome some of the Brazoswood football family to Harnden’s Dairy Bar this week to celebrate their Players of the Week!

Congratulations to these young men for their hard work, dedication, and effort on the field. Seeing their teammates join them for a meal, desserts, and time together made the visit even more special. 🍔🍦

There’s something special about teammates showing up for one another. Sharing a meal, laughing together, and celebrating each other’s accomplishments are memories that last long after the season ends.

Thank you to the players and coaches for making Dairy Bar part of your celebration. We appreciate your support and are proud to cheer you on!

Congratulations, Players of the Week, and Go Bucs! 💙

As my dad always said, “Come Create a Memory.” ❤️

What a joy to celebrate Grandparents Appreciation Day with the students and families of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic School! 🍦❤️
Harnden’s Dairy Bar was proud to provide 250 ice cream cups for students and grandparents to enjoy together. We loved sharing in a day that honors the special bond between generations.

🏈 Celebrating Our Student-Athletes! 🏈
Today, I had the pleasure of sharing lunch with Coach Eric Lester, head coach of the Brazoswood Football team, and Coach Justin Velasquez, head coach of the Brazosport Football team, to discuss something very special: recognizing and celebrating our local Players of the Week!

At Harnden’s Dairy Bar, we are proud to honor these outstanding young athletes for their hard work, dedication, teamwork, and commitment to their schools and communities. Each Player of the Week is invited to celebrate this accomplishment with a special Dairy Bar Sundae! 🍨🏆

Supporting our local schools and student-athletes has always been important to our family and to the Dairy Bar. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate their achievements and encourage them along the way.

Come by Harnden’s Dairy Bar and join us in celebrating these outstanding young people—and, as my dad always said, “Come Create a Memory.” ❤️

25 Years Later—We Will Never Forget

It is difficult to believe that 25 years have passed since September 11, 2001. Those of us who lived through that day will always remember where we were and how we felt as we watched such unimaginable tragedy unfold.

Today, I am thinking about every person who lost someone they loved and every family whose life was forever changed. Even after 25 years, the love they carry—and the pain of missing someone—does not simply go away.

I also remember the courage we witnessed that day. Firefighters, police officers, first responders, service members, and ordinary people put their own lives at risk to help others. Their bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

In the days that followed, our country came together. We treated each other like neighbors. We held our families closer, helped people we had never met, and remembered how precious life really is. I pray we never lose that part of who we were.

Today, the Harnden’s Dairy Bar family remembers every life lost, every family left behind, and every hero who answered the call.

You are remembered. You are honored. You will never be forgotten. ❤️
