What a beautiful day at A Place in the Son Nursery.

Thank you for showing up, supporting small business, and making room at your table for real food. Every loaf, cookie, cinnamon roll, and cream pie found a home today, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

This week’s test kitchen favorites have us especially excited:

🥖 Dutch Crunch (Tiger Bread) – soft, pillowy rolls with that signature crackled crust.

🫐 Triple Berry Crumble Pull-Apart Focaccia – naturally fermented focaccia layered with sweet berries and topped with a buttery cinnamon crumble.

🥖 Baguette-Style Sourdough – a rustic, golden-crusted loaf with a light, airy crumb perfect for sandwiches, soups, and summer charcuterie boards.

Today we’re featuring one of our favorite small-batch bakes: our handcrafted sourdough focaccia. Light, airy, and rich with olive oil, it’s the perfect addition to your table, charcuterie board, or summer meal.

🍅 Sun-Dried Tomato Basil Pesto Focaccia

This newest creation combines savory sun-dried tomatoes with fragrant basil pesto folded into our naturally fermented focaccia dough. The result is a flavorful, rustic bread that’s perfect on its own, dipped in olive oil, paired with pasta, or turned into an unforgettable sandwich.

As always, everything is made from scratch, naturally fermented, and crafted with simple ingredients and plenty of time.
