Today was one of the busiest days in the history of Ray's Helova Deli, and before I call it a night, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

To our customers: thank you for your patience, understanding, and support throughout an incredibly busy Fourth of July. We know there were times when the wait was longer than anyone would have liked, and we truly appreciate everyone who stuck with us. The kindness, encouragement, and understanding so many of you showed our team throughout the day did not go unnoticed.

To our staff: I couldn't be more proud of this crew. From the early morning breakfast rush through the evening, everyone stepped up, stayed focused, helped one another, and gave everything they had. Days like today aren't easy, but this team showed exactly what hard work, dedication, and teamwork look like. Today demanded everything you had, and you delivered.

We're incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing community and thankful for every customer who chose to spend part of their holiday with us. Days like today remind us just how fortunate we are to serve the Lake George area and the visitors who make this place so special.

From all of us at Ray's Helova Deli, thank you. We hope everyone had a safe, happy, and memorable Fourth of July.

We’ve had a very busy Fourth of July weekend in the deli and with a huge amount of Catering! I’m just thrilled every time we get a little note from someone we’ve served. It’s such a privilege!

☀️ HEAT WAVE UPDATE ☀️

As most of you know, we’re in the middle of a pretty brutal heat wave. Between the pizza oven, grill, and kitchen equipment, it gets significantly hotter inside the deli than it does outside.

The comfort and safety of our customers and staff always comes first, so we are shutting down the grill for the rest of this evening. It will be back up tomorrow morning for breakfast, and we’ll continue to monitor the heat and may turn it off during the hottest parts of the day as needed.

We’ll still be serving pizza, wings, cold subs, deli sandwiches, salads, and plenty of other favorites, so nobody is going hungry.

I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. My team has been working incredibly hard through these conditions, and I’d rather make a temporary adjustment to the menu than put unnecessary stress on the people who take care of our customers every day.

Please stay hydrated, check in on your family, friends, and neighbors, and if you’re out and about, stop in and cool off for a bit.
