Join us 6 days a week for lunch, brunch, dinner, cocktails, and Saturday Victorian High Tea (closed Tuesdays). Experience the most entertaining destination in Lake Geneva where Gilded Age living mixes with modern day indulging, creating a fancy-free environment reminiscent of a 1920's house party. Luxurious hotel suites, lakefront dining, live entertainment and our nightly Sundowner Celebration with vintage hats and classic cocktails is only part of the fun for guests who casually dine throughout the Mansion in decadently furnished parlors. Built in 1885 as a summer residence for Emily Baker, (Become a Friend of EMILY BAKER, for more inside details) the 17,000 sq. ft, 30 room Queen Anne Mansion was first named "Redwood Cottage." Over the last 125 years the home has had many lives: a SUMMER HOME for Emily and her 5 children; a SCHOOL DORMITORY for the Lake Geneva Seminary for Young Ladies; a "fashionable" SANITARIUM for wealthy Chicagoans recovering from light nervous disorders; a clandestine Speakeasy during Prohibition and by the 1930's it became a lakeside HOTEL & RESTAURANT, best known over the decades as the "St. In 2010 the "Redwood Cottage" has been lovingly restored and renamed the BAKER HOUSE in tribute to the homes' first family, Emily and Robert Baker.

Magic and psychic mystery, up close in our old mansion. You’ll probably have a few questions afterward.

You’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear that costume. Here it is. Dancing, costume prizes, grazing stations, and the Boiler Room afterparty for anyone nowhere near ready to go home.

He'll be here for three Saturdays of mind-bending illusions, hypnosis, and the kind of delicious nonsense that makes perfectly sensible people lean across the dinner table and say, “No. Absolutely not. How did he DO that?”

That’s a pretty good upgrade from the usual Saturday night.

Get your after-work crew over to The Baker House. The Ringmaster Bar opens at 4 PM, and our new dinner menu gives you plenty of reasons to stay past the first round. Dinner starts at 5 PM.

At 8 PM, the Boiler Room opens downstairs. No cover, no password. Just come on down.

Drinks, dinner, a whole night ahead of you… where else would you want to be?

And before everyone heads home, make the brunch plan: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 9 AM–2 PM. There’s always more to catch up on.
