Last night, I had a dream that BoD reopened in Little Saigon Garden Grove. We were jamming for brunch and dinner. It was nutzzzz!! Then I woke up with a cold sweat.šŸ˜‚ This morning, a fellow restauranteur texted me this. Sometimes, I wonder what ifā€¦

This is the idiot proof basic corn bread pudding/casserole for thanksgiving or whenever youā€™re craving for one.

1 8.5-oz box of Jiffy corn muffin mix
2 extra-large eggs
Ā½ cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 oz sour cream or yogurt(I use fresh viet da ua)
1 15-oz can of creamed corn
1 15-oz can of corn kernels(strain the juice for moisture adjustment)

Mix them all together and bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes depending on your oven. I like to add cheese and scallion in the mix and on top with crispy shallot.

Everything has an ending, a bitter sweet one. Bitter that i momentarily will not continue my passion in lake forest. Sweet is, of course, depends on when I want to stop my storyā€¦for now. Until we shall meet again for our next chapter. Our finale dinner was fun with 13 courses and 22 bottles of the finest wine.

I have not cooked over 100 days. These are some of the herbs at If you can name them all, Iā€™ll serve you this Saturday 3/8/25. Starting at 12 oā€™clock is oxalis/wood sorrel and go clockwise. Good luck.
