It’s been a difficult, yet deeply fulfilling journey—one filled with challenges, determination, and passion.
In 2016, Massimo met an Italian friend who was looking for a business partner. Promises of shared success were made, but when the hard work began, the friend returned to Italy and never came back. Massimo was left to take over the coffee shop on his own. And that’s how Aroma di Italia was born.
With no investors and limited funds, Massimo leaned on family and friends to help build a space the community would love. He poured his heart into the business, working countless hours to create more than just a café—it became a place of connection. Over time, customers became friends, and friends became family.
Thank you to EVERYONE (too many to name) who stood by Massimo and supported his dream. Because of you, a TV show was filmed at the shop, we hosted Santa visits, Live music with Stefano, Author Book Signings, Game Nights, Coffee w/the Mayor, and countless holiday and community events. It was a place for his Italian friends to meet, once a month on Monday, to play foosball, “scopa” and mangia. In these eight years, through every early morning and late night, Massimo never received compensation - only tips and your appreciation. Massimo’s drive was fueled by his desire to serve you well. That was his reward.
Now, as we close this chapter, we head to Italy for rest and renewal, with plans to return stronger and more inspired than ever.
