The pizza oven officially came to life today, which is exciting because it means we’re getting closer to opening.

It’s also terrifying because now we have to remember everything we learned at Pizza University.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at CLIMB! Sorry we missed you today.

While many of you are celebrating with family, we are hard at work checking off the final items on our punch list and pushing toward the finish line. This will likely be our last progress update before opening.

The finish line is finally in sight, and we couldn’t be more excited. Thank you all for your patience, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. We can’t wait to welcome you in, share a meal, raise a glass, and show you what we’ve been building.

Here’s to many Father’s Day celebrations together in the years ahead.

The sign is up.

After months of planning, construction, problem-solving, and more than a few late nights, seeing our name on the building feels pretty special.

There’s still work to do, but we’re getting closer every day. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been building with the Lake City community and everyone who visits our corner of the San Juans.

Big week at The Bar at CLIMB 🤠

Windows are in, electrical inspection is officially passed ✅, walls are starting to close up, the new CLIMB deck is coming together, and we’re now getting ready for equipment delivery on Monday.

Seeing this place finally start to transform from framing and chaos into an actual restaurant has been incredibly rewarding. Every beam, wall, wire, and board gets us one step closer to opening the doors.

This project has tested us in every possible way, but we’re proud of how far it’s come — and even more excited for what it’s going to become.

Soon this space will be filled with:
🍕 Pizza from our Italian-crafted, American-made oven
🍸 Cocktails & cold beer
🌄 Mountain views
🐶 A dog-friendly patio
🔥 And a whole new experience for Lake City
