In Loving Memory of our Dear Friend
This week, we lost someone truly special. As many of you know, Leonard Fuselier was one of the first employees when our family moved over from Houston. His journey with us started while he was 16 years old at a bowling alley restaurant in the late 1950’s and eventually transitioned over to Tony’s Pizza in 1968. During this time, this young man would become far more than staff, he became family.
He stayed with us for nearly 30 years, building a tradition alongside our family. But his dream wasn't just to work at our restaurant, it was to open his own. And he did. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant, Leonard’s Food Quarters that has thrived for 40 years. Ever the teacher, he taught his children the industry and they are doing him proud by making it greater everyday.
Over the decades, our families remained close through the years. We are thankful to have been able to reminisce with him during final days. Now we gather to honor him.
Attached are a few treasured photos from the 60s and 70s—him working here alongside family members when we were all just getting started. These images capture more than moments, they capture the beginning of something that lasted a lifetime.
