You really can’t go wrong with a good steak and a loaded baked potato.

Our filet is charred on the outside, cooked just the way you like it, and served alongside a hot, fluffy baked potato piled with all the fixings.

Simple, classic and always a good choice at Pat’s.

For Paul Hart Miller, a trip home to Lake Charles isn’t complete without a stop at Pat’s.

Paul grew up going to the original Pat’s in Henderson, Louisiana, and those memories have stayed with him even after moving to Boston. Over the years, he’s gotten to know Nick and has seen firsthand just how far Pat’s has come.

When he came back after the hurricanes, the restaurant was in shambles. But instead of simply rebuilding what was there before, Nick took the opportunity to make Pat’s even better, collaborating with some of the best restaurants in Houston and learning from what they were doing.

To hear Paul say that Pat’s today is even better than what he remembers means a lot to us.

There’s something special about seeing people who grew up with Pat’s continue to make us part of their trips home. Thank you, Paul, for continuing to come back and be part of the Pat’s story.

Their first date was at Pat’s, they had their rehearsal dinner here, and they’ve been back every year since for their anniversary.

We’ve watched a lot of families celebrate a lot of life around our tables over the years. Knowing Pat’s has become part of their traditions is something we’ll always be grateful for.
