Shout out Molokaʻi! 💚 Look who paddled in today!

Jabbar came all the way from Molokaʻi to Olowalu by kayak! 🤣 Maybe it’s faster and lighter than a canoe? 😂

Glad you made it here safely! Hopefully the ocean has settled down after all these storms.

Been a while since Auntie seen Jabbar. He always comes in with good energy and somehow gets everybody laughing. 😂

If Jabbar made you smile too, let him know in the comments or when you see him. 🤙🏼

Aloha, Jabbar! Mahalo for stopping in! 🥰❤️

My classmates, da Aquino twins, in da house! 🤙🏼🥰 It was so good seeing them together again and talking stories.

One of the twins asked if I knew how many bites it took her to finish her Olowalu Dog.

Four bites! 😂🌭

Auntie never counted before, but now I gotta know. Next time I eat one, I’m counting!

How many bites does it take you? No cheating with baby bites! 😂🤙🏼

Before filming, Tony recognized Auntie from our page and we started talking stories. I told him that Tony is Akoni in Hawaiian, so once the camera was rolling, I had to see if he remembered.

He was close! Good job, Akoni! 🤙🏼😂

It was so nice meeting you. Mahalo for supporting us all these years. Enjoy Maui, and we’ll see you Saturday at the Lights for Lahaina Light March! Aloha! 🥰

Manny and Dan bought a bag of ice and just two cans of b**r, so Auntie told them that was way too much ice. They better drink faster! 😂🍻

Mahalo for coming in, guys! It was so much fun laughing with you both.

Enjoy Maui! Maybe we’ll see you again before you leave. Aloha! 🤙🏼🥰

He took them shelling! 🤙🏼

Yay! Auntie finally met someone who actually went. I’ve been so curious to see what treasures people found.

Look at these great finds! Mahalo for sharing them with Auntie. I kind of wish I could go myself, but I enjoy going on adventures with you folks through your pictures and videos. It’s more fun because you do all the work! 🤣🤙🏼🥰❤️

Have a beautiful day and please be safe near the ocean.

When Holeka and Lei stopped by the store, I noticed Holeka’s beautiful aloha shirt right away.

We started talking stories, and I learned they’re from Hawaiʻi Island and were visiting Maui for a County Council conference in Kāʻanapali. They both work for the County of Hawaiʻi, so I asked what they do.

Holeka said he’s the Chair of the Hawaiʻi County Council and represents District 8, North Kona. Auntie asked, “So you’re a lawmaker?” He said yes, and when I jokingly told the Big Island people to call him, he gave everyone his public office number right there on the video. That’s so cool! 😂

Afterward, I looked him up and learned his full name is Dr. Holeka Goro Inaba. His public office number is (808) 323-4280, just like he shared in the video.

While they were here for the conference, they made a point of supporting local businesses. They had breakfast at a local food truck in Lahaina and then came to Olowalu for lunch. That kind of support means a lot to us.

Mahalo, Lei and Chair Inaba, for stopping in and supporting our store. We appreciate you both. Wishing you a productive conference and a wonderful stay on Maui.

Aloha and a hui hou! 🤙🥰

Cleanup is underway where I filmed debris coming onto the road Monday night. Traffic is moving well. We were stopped for just a short time, then sent on our way.

Mahalo to everyone working on the cleanup. Please slow down and give the crews room to work.
