Big changes are coming to Laguna Hills! 🏗️ At the Laguna Hills City Council meeting last moth, Merlone Geier Partners shared updated plans for the highly anticipated Village at Laguna Hills — and the motion to move forward passed 3-2. Here's what's on the table:

✨ 1,456 total homes (with new for-purchase townhomes & single-family options)
✨ Addition of a second hotel – 225 rooms total
✨ 200 affordable housing units included
✨ Office space removed for a more residential focus
✨ Retail downsized to ~150,000 sq ft – Nordstrom Rack to be relocated
✨ Experiential retail centered around a redesigned Village Park
✨ No parking structures – new layout for housing and hotels

🏡 1,021 rental apartments
🏡 435 for-sale homes
🏨 220 hotel rooms
