Attention, ice cream lovers!

Canal Creamery will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, so our crew can celebrate the holiday with family and friends.

Don’t panic—we’ve warned everyone to keep all fingers, hands, and ice cream scooping muscles in one piece. We expect the entire team back and ready to serve on Sunday.

We’ll be open Sunday from 2:00–8:00 PM, ready to make up for lost scooping time.

Have a safe and happy Fourth of July, and we’ll see you Sunday!

Canal Creamery wants to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Lagro Good Ole Days!
Between the great crowds, beautiful weather, and plenty of ice cream, it was a fantastic weekend.

After all the fun, our hardworking crew has earned a well-deserved day to recharge. We will be closed on Sunday, June 21, to thank our employees for all their hard work.

We’ll be back scooping your favorites on Wednesday, June 24. Until then, thanks for making this year’s festival one to remember! 🍦

The fair is in full swing in Lagro, and Canal Creamery is open all the way through the fireworks tonight!

Back by popular demand: the Tostada Stacker. Our fun twist on the chip aisle favorite features house-made bean dip layered with lettuce and cheeses, then topped with our signature French onion dip. We sauté onions for three hours before blending them into a seasoned cream cheese and sour cream base. It’s a crowd favorite for a reason.

Hungry for more? We’re serving our full food menu, including scratch-made hot dogs, meatloaf sandwiches, collard green melts, and Walking Taco-Ritos.

Got a sweet tooth? Cool off with an ice cream shake, sundae, or one of our homemade waffle cones.

While you’re here, enjoy everything the Lagro Fair has to offer:
• Bounce House and Dinosaur Show for the kids
• Car Show starting at 4 PM
• Live music with Lorlynn Hunt from 4–6 PM

Rainy days at Canal Creamery aren’t just for slowing down—they’re for stocking up. Today we started off making our homemade raspberry sauce, and now comes the most glamorous part: straining out all those tiny seeds. It’s a labor of love, but that fresh, real raspberry flavor is worth every minute.
