Introducing our first local business that will be featured during the Fall-centric five-course...Moose Brew Coffee!

Lorain County native, Jesse Schafer, is a husband, proud father of 3, and founder of Moose Brew Coffee, named after his loyal family dog, Moose.

A year ago, Jesse found a love for roasting beans when a friend introduced him to the art, he bought himself a small coffee roaster, and started experimenting.

He gave out his home roasted coffee beans as gifts, when people started telling him "You should sell this!" and he realized his hobby might actually be something more!

So, out of that late-night hobby, a love for freshly roasted coffee, and a loyal dog sitting beside him at one in the morning, Moose Brew Coffee was born.

Every bag of Moose Brew has a little bit of Jesse's story behind it—family, friendship, loyalty, the people who believed in him, a dog named Moose, and a really good cup of coffee that started the whole thing.

And the best part?

He's just getting started.
