Unfortunately, we had to unexpectedly shut down before today’s event due to an issue with our health permit renewal.
To clarify: there is *absolutely nothing wrong* with our trailer or our operations. Because our commissary kitchen recently changed ownership, it triggered an earlier-than-expected permit renewal process with the health department. We were under the impression we would receive notice before our current permit was officially canceled, but unfortunately… that did not happen.
As a result, we were required to stop serving immediately until we can complete the updated inspection process and receive approval to reopen. Hopefully this won’t take long.
This has been a stressful and **costly** headache for our small business, especially when we were fully prepared and excited to serve everyone today. If you planned to come see us, we are truly so sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment.
We appreciate your patience, support, and understanding more than you know. We are already working to get everything resolved as quickly as possible and hope to be back serving you all very soon.
Sometimes things don’t go according to our plans, but we trust God’s timing in all of it. Thank you all for continuing to support Cypress Coffee through the ups and downs. 🤍
