Hey guys!
Long time, no see!!

If you were ever a part of the coffee shop family, whether as a customer, barista, or supporter, you probably remember this espresso machine. “Pearl” was there for us through countless lattes, endless early mornings, and so many moments that made the shop feel like home. She even made it through the pandemic with me, helping bring coffee and comfort when the world felt uncertain.

Now, it’s time for her to start a new journey. I’d love for her to go to someone who will appreciate her as much as we all have. If you or someone you know is looking for a well-loved, well-cared-for machine with history and heart, send me a message!

Okay.... ok.
Yesterday is was “holiday”therefore I could not say goodbye to all my local regulars that work jobs that recognize said “holiday.” We just can’t end it all like that! Now yes... I know if I follow this logic we would never leave.

And I’m sure that there are many of you out there that say “no problem, stay forever!” All good chapters turn there final page and must come to an end. But before I go, one more breakfast, second breakfast, and maybe a pre lunch snack???

Open 8am-Noon with limited menu until the last latte is made and cup of coffee is poured.😉❤️ Oh, and don’t forget we have knickknacks and coffee beans up for grabs!

Also enormous shoutout to all the messages and phone calls and support we received from all of you over the last 24hrs. The community is strong and you’re all the reason I love what I do so very deeply. Truly blessed to be surrounded by such wonder people. Thanks for helping getting us through. With heavy hearts we are coming to you with news of our very last day.

Today we will be open until 9 pm. Stop by and say goodbye for or grab yourself a Java knickknack rummage sale style.

So I bet you might have some questions. And I bet I might have some answers.

I’ve (being me, Sarah, your neighborhood barista and owner of this charming little cutout) have always tried to stay honest and open with all of our customers. You or a friend, or even a coworker may tried to come by recently and have seen the light off and truly I wish I could have been there to greet you instead. Or maybe you heard of have said “oh did you hear?” And yes, it’s true. The building is for sale and we will be closing Java Roaster. This has been a very difficult decision. After all the people I’ve met and coffee I’ve made, the memories are richer than any cup I’ve ever poured. The timeline right now is a little messy due to covid being yet again a thorn in our sides. Yes, it’s also true. I have test positive for covid and I am writing to you from my quarantine cave. The best I can offer you is this... You, our customers, have supported and loved us from day one. Through a global pandemic and beyond. You matter to us and I will keep you updated as best as possible from now until our final bow. Plus... you know any new adventure that is embarked upon! 🌝

In the mean time if you’d like to support the Java Roaster through its final pot of coffee brewed...There are ways to do so. We will be offering flash sales of freshly roasted beans and cookies over the next few days available for order with delivery next week. Feel free to DM with questions or concerns!

Hello Friends!!
The shop is closed this week for a quick much needed summer break! It’s important for us to know that our customers support us in taking a break when we need it and that we support our customers when they need a break as well. We’d all be telling a very funny joke if we said the last year has been “easy” so remember that when you’re feeling down or overwhelmed it’s okay to give yourself a break.
THAT BEING SAID!
We’ll be back to serve up great drinks, food, and the chillest atmosphere you can find downtown on Saturday August 7th! Just in time for the next where you also can find us!
