A few years ago, Sarah Melancon made a decision that a lot of people dream about, but few actually make.
In September 2022, she left her corporate career to pursue art full time.
No guarantee of success, just a belief that the thing she loved doing could become something more.
Today, Sarah’s work can be seen on walls, windows, and murals throughout South Louisiana, bringing color and life to the communities around her! Her work has even become part of efforts to revitalize and celebrate historic downtown communities.

Her journey is exactly why we fuel people to chase their dreams.
Because sometimes chasing your dream means leaving what’s comfortable before you know exactly where the next step will lead.
When we asked Sarah what advice she’d give someone with a dream of their own, she kept it simple, but with so much heart behind her answer:
“Never sell yourself short.”
Bet on yourself. Take the opportunity. Put your work into the world. You might be surprised where it takes you!
